Today was day 3 of my trip in Florence! It’s such a big city with so many interesting things to see. You definitely need to stay longer than 4 days to see everything.

Today i finally went to the Salvatore Ferragamo museum. Again, no pictures of the museum pieces, it was not allowed to take pictures inside. There was an exhibition about Marilyn Monroe, a little story about her life and about her shoes, Ferragamo shoes of course. Continue reading »

Today I wanted to visit the Salvatore Ferragamo museum, but I was so busy exploring the city centre I rescheduled the museum visit. So I’m going there tomorrow!

My week started with a quick visit to a new leathersupplier. I’m always searching for the highest quality and i was pleasantly surprised about the condition of the leather this company offers. It was so well preserved. They offer the most flawless pieces of leather compared to the other suppliers i use to go to. The best quality i’ve ever seen.

Mijn week is begonnen met een bezoek aan een leergroothandel. Ik ben altijd op zoek naar de hoogste kwaliteit en ik was aangenaam verrast door de conditie van het leer bij dit bedrijf. Het is zo goed geconserveerd. Ze bieden de meest volmaakte stukken leer vergeleken met de andere leveranciers waar ik gewend ben naartoe te gaan. De beste kwaliteit dat ik ooit gezien heb! A late post this week! Every week gets busier and busier and there are still many things to do  before launching my collection!
While Claudia was busy having her yoga teaching classes literally all weekend, her little dog Sjors has spend the weekend with us. So sweet!

Every week is a busy week to me! Besides my work at 2 dental practices three days a week, i’m spending the time that’s left of every week on designing, brainstorming, travelling and meeting inspiring people!
This week started with a trip to Amsterdam. I was travelling by train after a long time again. Back in the days during my study i used to travel by train almost every day for about 3 hours and i always used this time to come up with sketches or reading interesting magazines. It’s also extremely inspiring to watch people during their journey.. So many people, all different destinations, all carrying their luggage. I was always very interested in what they all carry and how they carry it with them. So you can imagine how nice it felt to travel by train again after such a long time.
